Around 7 p.m. ET time tonight, Epcot suffered a massive power outage or surge that ended up taking down almost every single attraction in the park.
It isn’t entirely known yet what caused the power surge or just how far it reached on Disney property, but Epcot was greatly affected. As of 7:35 p.m., some of the attractions were back up and running according to My Disney Experience, but most others were still down.
Looking at the Wait Times, it does seem as if one-by-one, they are slowly coming back up and into operation at Epcot. Some Future World attractions do close early anyway, so, they may just leave them not operational for the rest of the evening.
As for some in World Showcase and a couple in Future World at Epcot, it is not yet known when they will be back in operation.
