Back in September, Disney decided to take Stitch’s Great Escape out of commission for daily operation and have it operate seasonally. Well, the Tomorrowland attraction will be reopening this weekend and staying open at least through the Christmas holidays.
On Dec. 17, 2016, Stitch’s Great Escape will begin having operating hours again, but it will not be open from park opening to close. Each day that it is open, Stitch will only be running wildly around from 10 a.m. until 8 p.m., no matter what the park hours are for Magic Kingdom.
Stitch’s Great Escape will operate daily through Jan. 2, 2017. After that, the attraction has no other park hours scheduled at all.
There have been a lot of rumors regarding this attraction and that Stitch could be replaced by a Wreck-It Ralph attraction or something like that. As of now, those are nothing but rumors and nothing has been confirmed nor announced by Disney.
