Walt Disney World is introducing a brand new way for Guests to get from park to park in a quicker and easier fashion. Soon, the Express Transportation option will be introduced using the buses and Guests can take advantage of it for a fee.
Guests will be able to use the Express Transportation which will actually use the Walt Disney World buses or shuttle vehicles to take them between the four main theme parks. There are two price options for this new system:
- $15 per person for one day
- $24 per person for multi-day
It can be added upon purchasing Park Hopper tickets or put on later if the Guest wishes to do so. All they would have to do is visit Guest Relations.
With this new Express Transportation option, Guests will not need to go through another security checkpoint when arriving at another park.
Each Walt Disney World park will have one pick-up location and as of this time, it is not running between resorts, just the parks. At the following locations, Cast Members will bring Guests using the Express Transportation option backstage.
Magic Kingdom – Between Carousel of Progress and Buzz Lightyear’s Space Ranger Spin
Disney’s Animal Kingdom – By the entrance of Kilimanjaro Safaris
Disney’s Hollywood Studios – Next to Rock ‘N’ Roller Coaster Starring Aerosmith
Epcot – On the eastern side of Spaceship Earth (Test Track side)

This new Express Transportation is set to begin on Dec. 7, 2016. It will run from 10 a.m. until the close of the parks.

As an annual pass holder or anyone else paying the exhortatant prices these shuttles should be free !
Please let the Greedy Disney Executives know that enough is enough !
And for Florida residents who are Annual Pass holders , we are getting fed up with the rate increases especially when we are seniors and do not partake of all the amenities !

C’mon, really? One of the perks of staying on Disney properties has been the free transportation to the parks. This reeks of greed. Is there a need for this? Have guests been clamoring with outrage under the present system? I expect better from Disney than this. Who came up with this great idea?
It is not too terrible it is just a quicker way to go from park to park I see it as being just anthor amenity offered as long as they add on to there 400 bus fleet with more buses for this and do not take away buses from the present system I don’t see a problem with it.
