For anyone heading to Disney’s Animal Kingdom in January of 2017, you need to know that one of the most popular attractions will not be open. Check the dates below to see if Kali River Rapids will be closed or not for refurbishment during your visit.
Kaili River Rapids is indeed going to be closed for around a month in January of 2017, and it will have to come off of the plans of some Guests.
As of this time, the refurbishment of Kali is set to begin on Jan. 3, 2017, and run through Jan. 29, 2017.
Kali River Rapids is tentatively scheduled to reopen to Guests on Jan. 30, 2017.
Please note that dates are subject to change and can without any notice. These dates are officially listed on Walt Disney World’s refurbishment schedule, but that does not mean they can’t possibly change.
