Many have been waiting for the dates of the Disney Parks Christmas Day Parade taping to be announced and well…we’re still waiting. On that note, though, a little bit of research may give Guests an idea of when the dates may be.
While Disney has made no official announcement on the dates for the Christmas Day Parade taping at Walt Disney World or Disneyland, we may now have an idea. Well, we may have an idea of the dates for at least one coast.
The page for the Festival of Fantasy Parade at Magic Kingdom on the official Walt Disney World website has now pushed back the times of the parade for three consecutive days in November. Now, the time of the parade has been pushed back to 5 p.m. for Nov. 10 – 12, 2016 with a make-up day on Nov. 13.
Some other rumored dates going around have the Christmas Day Parade taping happening the first weekend in December…the dates of 1-3 with an alternate day of Dec. 4.
Historically, Walt Disney World would tape their side of the Christmas Day Parade in December while Disneyland would tape in early to mid-November. Due to Disneyland’s 60th anniversary last year, WDW taped in mid-November while Disneyland didn’t tape at all.
NOTE: These dates are not confirmed and merely possible by looking at schedules. Please do not take these dates as solid as things could change or the Festival of Fantasy time changes may have nothing at all to do with the Christmas Day Parade taping.
