DINOSAUR Refurbishment At Disney’s Animal Kingdom Extended – New Opening Date Set

DINOSAUR was expected to open next week from its rather lengthy refurbishment that began back in July, but it appears that things aren’t yet ready. While Disney has not made an official announcement, the popular attraction at Disney’s Animal Kingdom has had its closure extended.

Scheduled to reopen on Oct. 17, 2016, Guests have started receiving emails that their FASTPasses are being rescheduled. Most Guests have had their DINOSAUR times replaced with one for Expedition Everest.

Disney has now confirmed that the refurbishment closure for DINOSAUR has been extended and it is going to be closed through Nov. 19, 2016. It is tentatively scheduled to reopen to Guests on Nov. 20, 2016.

As of now, it is not known when the attraction is going to reopen. Guests have been getting emails as far as Nov. 17, 2016, and even up to 30 days out.

Disney has made no official announcement that DINOSAUR’s refurbishment is being extended, but the emails make it clear.

Please note that dates are subject to change and can without any notice. These dates are officially listed on Walt Disney World’s refurbishment schedule, but that does not mean they can’t possibly change.
