Every year, Splash Mountain ends up undergoing a rather lengthy refurbishment early on, but now, there is a second one happening in 2016. Luckily, it’s not a very long one, but it could cause problems for some Guests.
Splash Mountain will be undergoing a one-day refurbishment on Dec. 7, 2016. It is tentatively scheduled to reopen to all Guests on Dec. 8, 2016.
It’s not known what is going to be done on that specific day, but it likely won’t be anything extensive.
Please note that dates are subject to change and can without any notice. These dates are officially listed on Walt Disney World’s refurbishment schedule, but that does not mean they can’t possibly change.
