The Land pavilion at Epcot was evacuated and temporarily closed earlier in the day on Monday due to what is being said as mechanical problems, but some reports of a small fire are also coming forth.
Around 1:30 p.m. on Monday afternoon, the entire Land pavilion at Epcot was indeed evacuated as a number of emergency personnel were on the scene. Numerous firefighters were there as Guests were led out of Soarin’, Living with the Land, Seasons, and the Garden Grill.

A report on Reddit said that something had apparently broken inside of the Living with the Land attraction and that Guests did “smell smoke.”
“We were riding living with the land had just boarded when we were moving into the first greenhouse when all the lights suddenly shoot on the ride dies we smell smoke as we cross into the greenhouse the generator im assuming that propels the ride caught fire. Once we exited the ride they had shut down the whole land pavilion they were escorting everyone out from the show from soarin ven all the people eating inside of garden grille and seasons all pretty scary. Im currently waiting outside to get back in”
Some reports on social media did say the smoke came from a small fire in Living with the Land, but there have been no official confirmations of that.
As of now, The Land has reopened and the attractions, including Living with the Land, are also operating for all Guests.
