Disney Springs is really blooming right now as new merchandise locations and restaurants are opening and welcoming in Guests. A couple of weeks ago, Chef Art Smith’s Homecoming opened its doors and Guests can now go online to make advanced dining reservations (ADRs).
Even though it is now open to the public, Advanced Dining Reservations could not be made for Homecoming until now. They can be made on the My Disney Experience app or website starting with Aug. 15, 2016.
The restaurant is absolutely fantastic and we’ve already dined there twice in the short amount of time that it has been open.
Homecoming has a great menu with some fantastic dishes and here are just some of them.
Bee Haven Bay Fried Green Tomatoes – Shaved ham, remoulade sauce, and dressed local greens
Bunch of Puppies – House-made pimento cheese hushpuppies served with red jalapeño jelly
This is honestly my personal favorite item on the entire menu. These hush puppies are simply amazing.
Fried Catfish – Accompanied by hushpuppies and grits. Served with KC Greens
Strip Steak Topped with Palmetto Butter – A 16-ounce cut served with creamy mashed potatoes and dressed greens
Fried Chicken & Doughnuts – Two pieces of Chef Art Smith’s famous fried chicken served with house-made sugar doughnuts and KC Greens
Hummingbird Cake – The famous pineapple-banana cake with cream cheese
