Many have wondered about the summer hours at Walt Disney World as it appears the parks aren’t closing overly late, but that doesn’t seem to be changing just yet…well, not for all parks. Magic Kingdom and Disney’s Hollywood Studios are about to extend hours in June, but please pay close attention to how they are changing.
Magic Kingdom has now extended park hours for a number of days in June, but not in the evening. No, the extended hours are happening for all park Guests, but it’s going to be in the morning as the park will open at 8 a.m. instead of 9 a.m. now on these dates:
- June 8, 2016
- June 9, 2016
- June 15, 2016
- June 16, 2016
- June 20, 2016
- June 22, 2016
- June 23, 2016
- June 27, 2016
Over at Disney’s Hollywood Studios, the evening park hours on a number of days in June and early July have now been extended as well. DHS is now going to close at 10 p.m. instead of 9 p.m. on these dates:

- June 25, 2016
- June 27, 2016

- July 2, 2016
This also means that the new Star Wars: A Galactic Spectacular fireworks will be taking place at 9:45 p.m. on each night.
