As reported by Doctor Disney in August of last year, it’s a small world in Magic Kingdom will indeed be going under refurbishment for three weeks later this summer.
It’s a small world was originally put on the Walt Disney World refurbishment schedule last year, but then quickly removed. It has since been put back on the schedule and still with the exact same dates.
Guests need to know that it’s a small world will be closing for refurbishment beginning Aug. 22, 2016, and it is slated to stay closed through Sept. 15, 2016.
As of now, it’s a small world is tentatively scheduled to reopen on Sept. 16, 2016.
Please note that dates are subject to change and can without any notice. These dates are officially listed on Walt Disney World’s refurbishment schedule, but that does not mean they can’t possibly change.
