This summer, Epcot will get a major dose of Disney’s Frozen with the opening of the Frozen Ever After attraction and the return of Anna and Elsa for a meet-and-greet. That being said, it now looks like the sisters will be leaving Magic Kingdom at the same time.
Many have wondered if Anna and Elsa would be leaving Magic Kingdom once Royal Sommerhus opened at Epcot, but it’s only been rumored that they would. Well, I’m So Disney… member pointed out that there may be some truth to that now.
The page on Disney’s official website for meeting Anna and Elsa at Princess Fairytale Hall now has a blurb saying they are heading out of Magic Kingdom later this year.
Anna and Elsa Are Moving to Epcot!
This summer, follow the Frozen magic when Anna and Elsa make their leave from Princess Fairytale Hall and find a new home at Royal Sommerhus, located in the Norway Pavilion at Epcot!
The paragraph on the site has a link which leads to the main page for “Royal Sommerhus” which doesn’t have an official opening date as of yet, but it set for “summer 2016.” The current rumor is that the Frozen area at Epcot will open in the final days of May.
If they do move out of Princess Fairytale Hall, then it is expected that other Disney Princesses will once again fill those spots.
NOTE: Please know that this could end up changing as Disney has not made a public or official announcement of things. It is confirmed that Anna and Elsa will be at Epcot, but has only been rumored that they would be leaving Magic Kingdom.
