Disney Cruise Line Announces Two Ships Being Added To Fleet

Exciting news as Disney Cruise Line has now officially announced two new ships will be added to the fleet which currently holds four.

Yes, the two new ships will each weight approximately 135,000 gross tons and each have about 1,250 staterooms. They will each be slightly larger than the Disney Dream and Disney Fantasy. They’re going to be built at the Meyer Werft shipyard in Germany, and be completed in 2021 and 2023.

As of now, it is not known what the names of the ships will be or what itineraries they will be sailing, but that information will surely come in the near future. Walt Disney Imagineering is already working on coming up with new things and taking the methods of old that work, and using them aboard the new ships in the Disney Cruise Line fleet.

Hopefully, more will be known soon, but it is confirmed that there will be two brand new ships in the Disney Cruise Line fleet coming over the course of the next years. This is exciting and something that has been rumored for a long time, and it is finally a reality.
