For the next couple of months, the Walt Disney World Monorail is going to be operating on a reduced schedule and it could be something that alters your travel time and vacations so make sure you know what’s going on.
This new schedule is in place currently and is set to run through March 20, 2016, while continued work is done.
Please remember that the following schedule can change in very short or even without any notice at all.
Resort Monorail
- On Mondays and Tuesday, it will begin operating at 8:30 a.m.
Epcot Monorail
- On Mondays and Tuesdays, it will begin operating at 9 a.m.
Express Monorail
- On Mondays and Tuesdays, it will begin operating at 9:30 a.m.
- On Wednesdays and Thursdays, it will be not operate between 11:30 a.m. – 6 p.m.
Last year, the Walt Disney World Monorail worked on a very reduced schedule for many months. During that time, there were additional buses and boat transportation running in order to help keep travel times and waits down.
If necessary, look for that to be the same case again over the next couple of months.
