A lot of changes are coming to Walt Disney World beginning next year, and one of them is happening to one of the most popular attractions at Epcot. Soarin’ is closing in early 2016, and will stay that way until the summer so it’s causing a shake-up in the FASTPass+ tiers.
Currently, the Tier One group for Epcot looks like this:
Future World – Tier One
- Soarin’
- Living with the Land
- Test Track
World Showcase – Tier One
- Illuminations: Reflections of Earth
It will stay like that through Jan. 3, 2016. Soarin’ closes on Jan. 4, 2016, for a lengthy refurbishment and it’s at that point that the Epcot FASTPassa+ tiers will change. On that day, Mission: Space will take the place of Soarin’ in Tier One.

On that same day, the Epcot Tier Two will change as it will now have one less attraction with the move of Mission: Space, and it will look like this:

- Spaceship Earth
- Turtle Talk with Crush
- The Seas with Nemo & Friends
- Captain Eo
Chances are that this change to the FASTPass+ tiers at Epcot is temporary, and will return to it’s old line-up after Soarin’ reopens next year. It could even return to normal before that, and this may be just a test, but we shall see.
