Even though Duffy the Disney Bear just had his meet-and-greet location at Epcot shut down about a week and a half ago, that isn’t stopping his best friend from coming over. ShellieMay will be arriving at Disney Parks this Fall, but not in the same capacity.
The Disney Parks Blog announced on Monday that ShellieMay merchandise would be coming to the Disney Parks this fall, but there is no word on a meet-and-greet of any kind. Her merchandise has been one of the most requested items in a long time, and now she will be sold in places other than at the Tokyo Disney Resort.
ShellieMay is Duffy’s best friend, and she was created by Minnie Mouse. There will be a 17-inch plush bear and a number of costumes on sale for her. There will also be a 12-inch plush “My FIrst ShellieMay” bear.
There will be a number of costumes for both her and the corresponding for Duffy, such as the Cinderella and Prince Charming costumes. A deluxe Minnie Mouse costume and pajama set will also be released along with a pre-dressed ShellieMay and cheerleader.
Like with Duffy, there will be a hardcover book released telling the story of ShellieMay and Minnie Mouse, and a pillowpet of ShellieMay is coming as well.
An exact date has not yet been set for when the ShellieMay items will hit Disney Parks, but it will be sometime this fall and likely soon. They will all be available at Walt Disney World and DIsneyland next to where Duffy the Disney Bear items are sold.
Select items will be found in the Disney Parks online store and on the Shop Disney Parks app.
