Blizzard Beach and Typhoon Lagoon always have their annual refurbishments in the fall and winter of each year. Blizzard Beach is going first in 2015, but now its refurbishment has been extended and is actually going to start a bit earlier than usual.
It was originally scheduled to begin on Oct. 25, 2015, but the start date has been moved up to Oct. 4, 2015. It is still scheduled to run through Jan 2, 2016.
Blizzard Beach is tentatively scheduled to open for Guests on Jan. 3, 2016, and on that same day, Typhoon Lagoon will close for its annual refurbishment.
For those planning on going to a water park and arriving anytime after Oct. 3, you’re going to have to visit Typhoon Lagoon through the end of the year.
Please remember that dates can change without much notice at all. While these dates are in place for refurbishment, changes can happen.
