Remember the other day when we reported the Shop Disney Parks app would be coming soon? Well, consider it “soon” because it just launched on Saturday morning.
With the new Shop Disney Parks app, you can search like you would any online store. You also have the ability to scan Disney merchandise bar codes to look for it and even find it anywhere in the parks and order it.
There are many categories such as Toys, Characters, Electronics, Collectibles, and more.
The app should be available in the Apple App Store and Google Play. I know it is in Apple as I’ve already downloaded it.
After downloading the Shop Disney parks app, simply sign in with your regular MDE or Disney.com name and password. Your name, address, and more should already be on file…even a credit card if one is stored to your account.
From your profile, you will also be able to check out your “Order History.”
At this time, it has been released for just Walt Disney World and not yet Disneyland.
The Shop Disney Parks app will work for most to all Disney Parks merchandise including limited edition releases.
It’s not going to be incorporated with My Disney Experience as it will be its own separate app. Word is that the two apps will connect and share information in the future.
