One of the major rides in Dinoland U.S.A. over at Disney’s Animal Kingdom is going extinct for a while. Primeval Whirl is set to undergo a three-month long refurbishment starting later in August.
As of now, Disney has Primeval Whirl scheduled to close on Aug. 17, 2015, and stay closed through Nov. 12, 2015.
That means Primeval Whirl is tentatively schedule to reopen for Guests on Nov. 13, 2015.
There’s been no word as to what kind of refurbishment is being done to Primeval Whirl at all. It is expected that the attraction won’t really change in any way, but will likely get some new coats of paint, tune-ups, and other big-time maintenance fixing.
Please note that dates are subject to change and can without any notice. These dates are officially listed on Walt Disney World’s refurbishment schedule, but that does not mean they can’t possibly change.
