Just about a week and a half ago, Zuri’s Sweets Shop at Disney’s Animal Kingdom opened up and was talked about big time. They were selling numerous sweets and treats including animal poop candy, but it appears as if those are now a thing of the past.

Yes, as of Friday, June 26, 2015, the animal poop candy is gone from Zuri’s Sweets Shop.

Many noticed it and spread the word that it was gone, but then it started making the rounds on social media as well.

Upon speaking to a few Cast Members and other sources, the poop candy was pulled due mostly to Guest complaints. There is no word on whether or not it will return in some form or another.

For now, it’s off the menu at Zuri’s Sweets Shop, and Disney has not had any sort of official comment regarding its departure. The introduction did bring a lot of press, but at least for now, the animal poop candy is no more.

  1. People are so over sensitive. I thought the poop candy was funny and cute.

  2. Patrick Harnan says

I think this is absurd that they are pulling this over guest complaints. People need to get over themselves. It was a fun thing and people have just ruined it.

  3. I’ve seen animal pool candy all over the US and Canada in gift shops. I’ve bought it, eaten it, given it as gifts where it was always well received with the humor that was intended. At some point, Disney needs to not fold every time someone complains. I mean – what EXACTLY is the offense? Get over it folks. It’s funny and cute.

  4. It’s funny to think that a few guest complaints can get something pulled so quickly. I’ve never once complained to a cast member about something. I have things I don’t like (2015 apparel everywhere!) but it doesn’t offend me. This was a clever gimmick and it was getting people in the door of this new shop with some great buzz. So long caramel fudge poop. We will never meet in real life!

  5. So if I complain to guest services about the guests that complain, will that get them removed from the park as well? If so I would like to lodge my complaint now!

  6. Jennifer says

This is a bummer. What a bunch of party poopers!

  7. I was actually really looking forward to trying these on my next visit to WDW! People are way too sensitive nowadays. They’re obsession with having their voices heard (even for the stupidest of reasons) supersedes their ability to reason.
