Winter is in full swing so about about celebrating the new year right with a New Orleans classic created with a little Disney magic, even if it is a bit late into the season.

The Southern Hurricane is mixed with satisfying amounts of Myers’s Original Dark rum, Southern Comfort, fresh orange and pineapple juice. This refreshing drink helps warm any cocktail aficionado on those cold winter days. Although this drink can be ordered at the numerous bars in Walt Disney World, there is one particular place where you can’t help put enjoy the Mardi Gras flair and New Orleans ambiance.
Mardi Grogs Pool-Bar at the Port Orleans French Quarter is where to be to celebrate and drink like a Mardi Gras king or queen! The pool adds a nice backdrop with its Mardi Gras themed pool area. Alligator statues dressed in Carnival season finery parading towards the pool playing instruments add a fun flair to the bar atmosphere.
TVs allow you to catch your favorite teams and games as you enjoy your favorite drink. Iron bar and ornamentation stools seem to make the spirit of the French Quarter come alive. The sign for Mardi Grogs even features Mardi Gras colors and musicians adding to the whole theme.
