Magic Kingdom now has one less smoking location, and it’s a pretty big one.
As of February 27, 2015, the smoking location next to Cinderella Castle, on the side where Sir Mickey’s is located, has been removed. The alternate location on the opposite side Cinderella Castle, where the smoking location has been during refurbishment, is also closed.
It’s been talked about, but WDWMagic has confirmed that it does no longer exist and the walkway to Merida and Tomorrowland is not a smoking location anymore.
With the removal of that smoking location, there will now be only four in all of Magic Kingdom:
- Near the Adventureland entrance on the Main Street U.S.A. side
- In Frontierland near Big Thunder Mountain
- Close to Tomorrowland on the walkway toward Fantasyland
- Close to Storybook Circus on that same walkway
