There’s actually been some talk in the “I’m So Disney…” lately about whether or not the Walt Disney World parks would be extending their operating hours for the upcoming busy months. It appears as if they were already ahead of the game.
Magic Kingdom, Disney’s Animal Kingdom, and Disney’s Hollywood Studios have actually all extended operating hours for a number of days in March, April, and May.
This isn’t entirely surprising as March and April bring in the Spring Break and Easter crowds. May begins to bring in the early summer crowds and graduating classes in the middle of the month.
Hours are already long in February, especially during the middle of the month when the Princess Half Marathon, Mardi Gras, and President’s Day all fall right around the same time.

Extra Magic Hours are there for resort Guests and there have been extra showings of the Main Street Electrical Parade as well. With some days having the parks open upwards of 14-16 hours, you won’t want to miss out on any time.
