Many have been waiting for them, and now they’re going to be able to get them. During the month of December, four new MagicBand designs will be introduced at Walt Disney World. The best part is that they are designs that many have been wanting for a long time.
Over the course of the month of December, Guests will be able to find four new MagicBand designs including Disney Princesses, Minnie Mouse, Stitch, and Sorcerer Mickey. All four are considered to be “Open Edition” – not limited – and will not make unique noises or lights at MyMagic+ touch-points.
All will be priced at $19.95 plus tax and they will be available in the four Walt Disney World theme parks as well as at Downtown Disney.
They’re all coming out – or have come out – on different dates so check them to be sure.
First up, the Disney Princess MagicBand that was first announced back in September will be released on Dec. 22, 2014.
The Minnie Mouse MagicBand is set to hit store shelves on Dec. 14, 2014, but MagicBandCollectors said that it was actually released early at Epcot, but it sold out or was pulled from the shelves due to being released at the wrong time.
The Stitch MagicBand will be coming out on Dec. 17, 2014.
On Dec. 9, 2014, the Sorcerer Mickey Mouse MagicBand was released. It was first released in the Fantasia Gift Shop at Disney’s Contemporary Resort and at Disney’s Hollywood Studios, but is said to be expanding to all four parks and Downtown Disney soon.

There may be, but has been no announcement of MagicBands for Pirates at this time.
Is it possible to purchase these bands online or can you only purchase them at disney parks?
At this time, only solid-colored MagicBands are available for purchase online.
