There was some talk going on this morning in the “I’m So Disney…” Facebook Group about a lot of police and other emergency vehicles around the Walt Disney World Swan Hotel. Come to find out that a suspicious device had been around there, but it was rendered a hoax after being investigated.
Some reports had come about that there was a traffic accident near the resort, but then it was revealed that a suspicious device had been found.
Click Orlando reported that device was found in an area under construction on the seventh floor of the Walt Disney World Swan.
The Orange County Sheriff’s Office arrived on the scene and found the device and soon revealed it had been a hoax and that the device was considered safe. An investigation has been launched to determine who planted the hoax device which was found by Swan hotel workers.
The Orange County Sheriff’s Office deputies and bomb squad did not reveal a description of the device.
