Bus Route Test Between Typhoon Lagoon, Disney Monorail Resorts Coming Next Week

disney busBack in June, there were some changes to the Disney bus routes that seriously affected how guests got to and from Typhoon Lagoon to their Disney Resort. Well, a new bus route is being tested for a good part of the rest of October and it could make things easier for guests, especially at the monorail resorts.

The test will begin on Oct. 12, 2015, and is scheduled to run through Oct. 25, 2014, but please remember that is always subject to change.

The route is scheduled between Typhoon Lagoon and the resorts along the Disney Monorail line – Disney’s Polynesian Village Resort, Disney’s Grand Floridian Resort & Spa, and Disney’s Contemporary Resort.

Essentially, this new route is going to help as there has been no direct bus route service from Typhoon Lagoon after 2:00 p.m. Guests were being directed to bus routes that went to Epcot and then back to their resorts by way of the Disney Monorail system.

It’s not a surprise that there has been a number of bus route issues in the past year, and likely will keep bringing about more tests over the next two. All of the construction in the Downtown Disney area is hampering routes for buses, guest vehicles, and the like.

This new bus route test could end up continuing if it proves to work well.
