The biggest news from this past week was the sad, and far-too-soon, passing of Robin Williams aka The Genie. The world is indeed still mourning for him and it is so incredibly hurtful to know that he is gone, and at the young age of 63.
Rest in Peace, Genie.

The sudden and shocking death of actor Robin Williams on Aug. 11, 2014, left many grief-stricken and speechless. The man who brought the Genie to life in Disney’s “Aladdin” will be truly missed, and there honestly are no real words that can be said to express the loss.
New Alex and Ani Disney Bracelets Coming To Disney Parks – ‘Frozen’ and ‘NBC’
Just announced earlier today was that Disney had joined together with PANDORA Jewelry to sell their charms and other items in Disney Parks starting later this year. Without trying to be outshone, Alex and Ani Disney bracelets had also just revealed two new designs and they bring the holiday spirit.

Jewelry fans will be thrilled to know that Disney has joined with PANDORA and will be selling it in Disney Parks starting this fall. Those that know of the elegant charms from PANDORA will be happy to see that there will be a collection of specifically designed Disney-themed jewelry coming soon.
Ultimate VIP Tour Coming To Epcot Food & Wine Festival
This year’s Epcot International Food & Wine Festival is longer than it has ever been before, and it’s bringing even more than you’ve ever seen. One of the newest experiences will be the Ultimate Day VIP Tour at Epcot’s International Food & Wine Festivals, and it’s so awesome.
The American Idol Experience Closing For Good At End of August
The huge announcement of the closing of The American Idol Experience at Disney’s Hollywood Studios dropped in mid-June, but news has changed now. The attraction will no longer be closing in early 2015, but the end of August 2014.
New Fries – Similar to Figaro Fries – Available At the Magic Kingdom
There are some great new treats to be had at the Magic Kingdom, and they are very similar to something from the past. Called “Creative Fries” by the Disney Parks Blog, these fries topped with all kinds of awesome toppings are very similar to the lost Figaro Fries and can now be yours.
