For those that are going to be in Walt Disney World for the 4th of July holiday and weekend, you’ve got to know some things about everything. First of all, you’ve got to know the schedule of events for the different parks, but you’ve also got to realize that there will be some traffic changes as well.
Due to the chance (certainty) of heavy traffic at the end of the 4th of July night at the Magic Kingdom, some changes to direction and detours are going to be put into place.
Here is all you need to know so that your 4th of July at Disney is as stress-free as possible.
The following traffic direction changes will only be in place on the evening of the 4th of July from 9:30 p.m. until 11:30 p.m., give or take a few minutes.
~ Floridian Way will only have traffic going in one direction between Seven Seas Drive and Bear Island Road, and that will be southbound.
Floridian Way is the street that runs on the Shades of Green side of the Transportation and Ticket Center parking lot.
~ Seven Seas Drive will travel in one direction only and carry traffic from World Drive to Floridian Way.
Seven Seas Drive is the street that runs between the Transportation and Ticket Center parking lot and Disney’s Polynesian Village Resort.
