Is a ‘Frozen’ Coronation Really On The Way the Magic Kingdom This Fall?

Frozen coronationOk, well the time has come once again to start talking about a coronation for Anna and Elsa of Disney’s “Frozen.” Going to say it right from the start that these are rumors and nothing is set in stone yet, but a few places including a friendly chipmunk are saying that the popular girls may be crowned Disney Princesses soon.

As of now, the word is that there will be a “Frozen” coronation for Anna and Elsa at the Magic Kingdom on Sept. 24, 2014.

Is this confirmed? Nope, but it may make a bit of sense.

Let’s look at things. Cinderella Castle got the repainting treatment a few months ago and it looks all pretty. Anna and Elsa headed over to Princess Fairytale Hall in late April and have brought their popularity with them.

Now, their time for meet-and-greets has been extended to park close so that even more guests can visit the “Frozen” girls.

Ok, let’s look at something else too.

Pixar’s “Brave” hit theaters in late June of 2012. In the middle of May 2013, Merida had her coronation in the Magic Kingdom.

“Frozen” came out in theaters in December and having a coronation in September would be just about the right amount of time. This is very possible, but again…not confirmed.

Remember back in March when rumors started swirling about a “Frozen” coronation coming to the Disney Parks? Yeah, well that ended up being nothing more than a rumor so let’s chalk this news up again as the same.
