Kouzzina by Cat Cora is going to officially close this fall and it will be gone from Disney’s Boardwalk.
The restaurant is going to cease operation this fall and its last official day of operation will be September 30, 2014.
Kouzzina is a restaurant that was very popular with those that liked it, but unfortunately, it has not been a busy place in years.
It opened in 2009 to great acclaim, and continued to get better over the first year or two, but then it just seemed to fizzle out. Personally, I found it to be pretty good, but some reviews just never did it justice.
Word is that there are some contractual situations at play here as well.
Cat Cora was in attendance for the opening.
A new restaurant is set to open in the location on the Boardwalk sometime in late 2014, but there have been no details as to what it will be.
