As mentioned previously on Doctor Disney, Star Wars Weekends are coming in May and with Disney now owning the Star Wars properties we can expect to see a lot more done to cross over the franchises. This week we learned of some of the cool new swag that will become available over these weekends.
The poster for “Rebel Rendevous” was originally published here on Doctor Disney on February 21 and is said to take place between the events of Episode III and IV. In addition to the poster the teams have created a special Pin set and lanyard on which to show the pins off.
As for toys the team has done a great job merging iconic Star Wars characters with familiar Disney faces and characters. You will see tractors from the Cars franchise dressed in Stormtrooper attire and everyone’s favorite 5 dressed as Star Wars characters with Mickey as Luke Skywalker and Donald as Han Solo.
Lastly there will be a Limited Edition Star Wars Series 4 Vinylmation set released. This set will include the Rancor monster and his keeper in 9 and 3-inch sizes.
