For those that enjoy eating at Cosmic Ray’s Starlight Cafe, and are always having trouble finding a seat, there’s good news. The outdoor seating area will soon be enclosed at the Tomorrowland restaurant.
Construction is expected to begin this week and be completed by sometime in mid-February, 2014.
The popular quick service restaurant almost always has a crowd, and there are a number of tables outside on the open patio.
During the rare cold days in Orlando, it can be windy and not worth sitting out there. During the summer and other hot months though, it’s hard to sit outside due to the extreme heat.
Now, Cosmic Ray’s outdoor seating will be enclosed with air conditioning and hopefully will still offer up great views of Cinderella Castle and Main Street.
The restaurant will still be open and working as the construction goes on as Disney has no plans of shutting down operation while the patio is enclosed.
