Cast Member previews have been going on for the past few days at the new Starbucks in Epcot, and those previews will continue for about another week. But now, we know when all guests will be able to go in and get their frappucino at the old Fountain View.
Managerial Cast Members confirmed this morning that the Starbucks at Epcot is set to open on Sept. 4, 2013.
For those that aren’t aware, it is located in the old Fountain View ice cream shop right next to the Epcot Character Spot. It is expected that virtually all items will be Starbucks’ brand.
This is the second Starbucks location to make it into the Walt Disney World Parks as the first went into the location of the old Main Street Bakery at the Magic Kingdom.
Both Disney’s Hollywood Studios and Disney’s Animal Kingdom are set to get a Starbucks location along with Downtown Disney in the future.
I enjoyed having a sundae at this spot last December. I hope they have something ice-creamy available. Personally, I’d prefer they partnered with Dunkin Donuts/Baskin Robbins.
