Some brand new merchandise is coming to Disney Parks – Walt Disney World and Disneyland – and this is the kind of stuff that I’ve always liked. Actually, some of it is already in parks too, but doesn’t look like it will be available online.
The new pieces are vintage signs of unique and memorable locations around the Disney Parks including:
- Aloha Isle
- Walt Disney World Railroad
- Disney’s Enchanted Tiki Room
- Frontierland
- Gaston’s Tavern
- Radiator Springs
- Turkey Legs
- And more…
The Tiki Room one is my favorite so far, and it incorporates different aspects from the outside of the attraction:
“We took the attraction sign and combined it with shields found both on the Adventureland bridge in Magic Kingdom Park in Florida and on the attraction building in Disneyland park in California,” explained David. “I thought the addition of the shields made the sign more aesthetically pleasing.”
Currently, the signs are available at the Art of Disney in Downtown Disney and the Animation Gallery at Disney’s Hollywood Studios. They will be coming to Disneyland soon.
