The D23 Expo for 2013 is going to bring about a number of surprises and that includes meet-and-greets for some first-time Disney characters.
As many of us know, Disney can’t fully put Marvel into some of the parks due to legal issues, and it has been that way since purchasing the company back in 2009. Well, they are going to be represented big time at D23 as will Disney Junior, Disney Channel, Disney XD.
Beginning with a one-hour television special called “Phineas and Ferb: Mission Marvel,” characters will then have live performances as well as meet-and-greet schedules for guests and attendees.
Hong Kong Disneyland is going to be the first official Disney Park to get Marvel characters and a themed area, but this is at least a start for the United States.
