The NextGen wave of technology continues at the Walt Disney World Resort as new RFID (radio frequency ID) payment machines have been installed in Disney’s Contemporary Resort. Check out the pics below.
These new card readers are in the Contemporary at different gift shops, the Contempo Cafe, and at the front desk.
So far, there is a lot of RFID already on Disney property with Disney’s Art of Animation having the RFID door locks on all doors. Epcot has also tried the RFID turnstiles before as well, but they were only in place for a short period of time.
